OMV Petrom S.A., an oil and gas company completed the acquisition of 100% stake in SC Wind Power Park SRL. The SC Wind Power Park SRL, owns a fully permitted Dobrogea Wind Power Project located near Black Sea Coast in Dobrogea, Romania. The total installed capacity of the project is 45 MW which can be extended to 54 MW. The company would invest EUR100 million ($136.40 million) for the acquisition and development of the project. The construction of the project will start this year and is expected to commission its operations by the mid 2011.
